Summer sun on the North East coast

A few weeks ago I headed North to visit the Mater and Pater with my beautiful nieces. Did the sun shine? Yes. Did the girls have fun? Yes. Did Grace jump in the water within the forst 15 minutes of arriving? Yes. Was the water cold? You bet your life it was. Did I, as a great and loyal Auntie follow and play joyfully in the water? Absolutely not. I did however watch carefully from the side and shivered at the very thought. Brrrrrrr.

A niece day out

Top deck

I had a great couple of days with my nieces this week. We climbed, ate pizza, danced to Pink, watched chick flick, rode on the bus, visited Scottish museum, played and had lunch in the park and shopped for clothes. Great fun.

Well Done

Well done to my lovely niece Grace and her friend Morvern, who today walked the Race for Life course around a very misty and humid Holyrood Park.

It took a while to find them amongst the other 8000 competitors, but they eventually appeared.
